CHAP 1 Beech Path
Also known as Beech Walk this path starts from the High Street just opposite entrance to the Memorial Playing Field and the Village Hall. Through a wooden kissing gate it goes north down a gentle slope to the woods and another kissing gate. Turning east it follows and undulating path along the top edge of the wood popping out through a metal kissing gate and into a field that commands a high point in the village with fantastic views to the north and east that stretch for many miles. Inquisitive cattle are the usual residents in this field but a generally unphased by walkers. Across this field and the next through 2 more kissing gates and into Wood Lane. Wood Lane leads to the Pub in the High Street to the right, straight across Wood Lane joins CHAP14 east or left to Chap21 north.




CHAP 2 Heath House Lane
From the High Street at the entrance to the Memorial Playing Field, the path follow the track down towards Heath House Farm. Just after the sharp right bend at the very bottom of the hill, it goes through a kissing gate and across the fields to Corsley Mill Farm and out into Mill Lane


CHAP 3 Eustaces West
From a point on Chap 2 on the Somerset boundary, this path stretches through the field to Mill Lane by a smallholding Spring Farm (formerly Eustace’s)


CHAP 4 Across Common
From the High Street the path goes through the garden of the house next to Fairview Farm and across Gore Lane (CHAP27) and then several styles take it to Heath House Lane (CHAP2) across what used to be the village common many years ago.


CHAP 5 The Common
From Across Common (CHAP4) this path goes south down a steep narrow gully over a stile and across a meadow to Mill lane Just west of Spring Farm (formerly Eustace’s).


CHAP 6 Huntenhull Green
By the entrance to a field at Huntenhull Green this path cuts the corner of Mill Lane across the fields and comes out by Corsley Mill onto Mill lane again.


CHAP 7 Huntenhull Green
With a recently planted woodland to the right this path leaves Mill Lane at Huntenhull Green and runs down the edge of the woodland across a meadow to the Rodden Brook and Corsley Parish boundary. From here the Corsley path takes you to Pool Farm.


CHAP 8 Huntenhull Green
From the high Street though the yard of Green Farm and south across the field over a style and up hill to Gore Lane (CHAP 27) then on down to Mill lane on the edge of Huntenhull Green.


CHAP 9 The Dran
This short path leaves the High Street through the yard of Rylands Farm and downhill between hedges to Huntenhull Lane


CHAP 10 Broad Path
At South Croft where there hard surface runs out Broad Path follow the back of the gardens to the next field which it crosses diagonally then across a meadow and down a steep path beside the Rectory to Dye House Lane. Corsley footpaths take you from here to Corsley Church.


CHAP 11 Huntley Green
A style from the Corsley road at Huntenhull Green takes the path North east up hill and over two styles to meet Broadpath (CHAP10)


CHAP 12 Dye House Path
Just past Brimhill Rise this path climbs over the hill crossing Broadpath (CHAP10) and down through a kissing gate, steps, and across a bridge to Dye House Lane


CHAP 13 Across Sonnes
Opposite Cley Hill Gardens this path heads out south-east across the field towards Upton Scudamore and Warminster. On the ground, the route is not clear and not well used but is a good route for a challenging longer circular route


CHAP 14 Thoulstone TurnPike
At the top of Wood Lane just beyond the last house, the path runs through the nursery over some styles and across the field to cross the A3098 and then across the field to join the old A36 road on the corner by Thoulstone Farm




CHAP 21 Godswell Grove
