This website is run by Chapmanslade Parish Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Model Policy Documents produced by a third party and adopted by the Council where formatting cannot be changed such as:  Freedom Of information – Model publication scheme- the table grid was produced by a third party as  model to use. NALC Model standing orders requires large sections of bold type. Code of Conduct – WALC/NALC model contains a table. Consultation documents produced by Wiltshire Council contain tables.

Documents produced by a third party where links have been provided e.g Wiltshire Council Election notices, Chapmanslade Parish Plan on Village website.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Maps displayed by Google Maps – we don’t control how Google Maps displays information, but where possible we provide addresses within the web page’s text (via HTML). When Google makes their map output accessible, we will update our technology accordingly

Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations.

Some of our PDFs and Word documents are official, signed documents that cannot be produced in an accessible format, e.g. our accounting statements, AGAR audit documents and documents provided for completion by Auditors.

The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.

Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.

We undertake training on how to make website pages and linked documents more accessible, and take into account any feedback from our community.
